Hi, i'm Shima.

I'm an award winning Make up Artist based in Dublin working in Beauty, Fashion, Bridal, Editorial, Creative and Body Painting Makeup.

I started in the makeup industry 17 years ago. After moving to Dublin in 2004 I started teaching makeup in a well known Dublin Makeup Academy. In 2009 I become a Freelance Makeup Artist working for myself building my brand. I've recently returned to Ireland after spending some time back working in Sydney where I originallytrained. While back in Sydney I worked in High Fashion and Editorial Hair/Makeup with The Photo Studio and private bridal makeup clients during that time.

I've worked on fashion shows in Sydney, including Mercedes Fashion week and fashion shows at the amazing Sydney Opera House. Excited to be back in Dublin working with new clients and also back with previous clients.

In addition to this I work with creative agency EF Creative on various clients assignments doing hair and makeup, which includes UTV Ireland, Live News Presenters (Alison Comyn, Claire Brock), The Pulse (Jenny Buckley) and also with photography studio Secret Boudoir.

Alongside Hair/Makeup clients I have been a makeup tutor for the last 9 years in a number of Makeup Academy's around Ireland and Sydney. LA Creative, The International Makeup Academy, Avant Garde Makeup Academy and now the Head of Makeup and Tutor at the Sharon Leavy College of Hair & Beauty in Ireland teaching classes from basic makeup to ITEC Fashion, Theatre & Media courses and Body Painting classes in Sydney at 'The Makeup Technicians School'.

With a background in art I started body painting 8 years ago. I've painted at the World Body Painting Competition in Austria in 2010 and 'won' the 2012 Irish Body Painting competition in Dublin. My Body Painting clients include private projects like Pregnancy shoots and corporate clients including advertising for Danone, Miller Beer, Peta, The Wright Venue, Secret Boudior to name a few. I've had the pleasure of painting celebrities like former Miss Universe model Rosanna Davison and also Nicola Huges from 'Made in Chelsea'.
